It includes a professional development planning tool to help you assess your knowledge and skills and chart a course for your professional development journey.

The document is organized with seven content knowledge areas linked to an Individual Professional Development Planning Tool:

  • Child and youth growth and development

  • Health, safety, and nutrition

  • Observation and assessment

  • Learning environment and curriculum

  • Family and community engagement
