Can I use Lillio Academy for PD hours in New York?
Yes! Lillio Academy is an approved organization by the Aspire Registry and OCFS. Courses comply with Quality Stars NY training requirements. Lillio Academy is an approved asynchronous organization offering OCFS non-credit-bearing asynchronous distance learning courses. HiMama Academy’s OCFS Organization ID is 158392, and its Aspire Registry ID is 105248.
Please Note: All Webinars and Lillio Basic Courses must NOT be submitted to your registry. They do not meet specific learning requirements for the state and will not be accepted if submitted.
Sign up for Lillio Academy to complete your professional development hours at your convenience! You can work at your own pace from wherever you want. Once you complete a course, you can download your certificate. We will submit your attendance to The Aspire Registry so it is on your record!
New York Childcare Training Requirements:
In accordance with section 390, all providers in the state of New York are required to complete 15 hours of training within the first six (6) months of employment and 30 hours every two (2) years in the required OCFS training topic areas.
OCFS required training topics:
Principles of childhood development
Nutrition and health needs of children
Child day care program development
Safety and security procedures
Business record maintenance and management
Child abuse and maltreatment identification and prevention
Statutes and regulations pertaining to child daycare
Statutes and regulations pertaining to child abuse and maltreatment
Prevention of Shaken Baby Syndrome

Is there funding available for Lillio Academy in New York?
The Educational Incentive Program (EIP) is a scholarship program that helps childcare providers pay for training and educational activities to build provider knowledge, skills, and competencies to improve the quality of child care.
Lillio Academy is a pre-approved training program through the EIP event approval process and is recognized as a verified training organization on the New York Aspire registry.
All Lillio Courses are eligible for funding through The Educational Incentive Program (EIP). To apply online for an EIP award, click here: EIP Application.
