Can I use Lillio Academy for PD hours in Pennsylvania?
Yes! Lillio Academy is an approved organization by Pennsylvania Key, Keystone STARS, and the Pennsylvania Quality Assurance System (PQAS). Lillio Academy’s PQAS approval number is 53934. PQAS is designed to ensure quality professional development and technical assistance is provided to early childhood and school‐age practitioners in Pennsylvania. You can work at your own pace from wherever you want. Once you complete a course, you can download your certificate. Your attendance will be included on your PD Learning Record in the PD Registry. Quality coaches and designators use this learning record in the Keystone STARS designation process.
Please Note: All Webinars and Lillio Basic Courses must NOT be submitted to your registry. They do not meet specific learning requirements for the state and will not be accepted if submitted.

Pennsylvania Childcare Training Requirements:
Unless staff are actively enrolled in a CDA or academic program of study in Early Childhood Education or an equivalent degree, they are required to complete 12 hours of professional development every fiscal year to meet the Professional Development and Staff Qualifications Performance Standards of Keystone STARS.

Can educators receive Act 48 credits with Lillio Academy?
Yes! All online courses offered by the Pennsylvania Key are Act 48 approved. Act 48 requires all Pennsylvania educators holding Pennsylvania public school certification to earn 180 hours of continuing professional education every five years to maintain active status. One credit equals 30 hours. At this time, all online courses offered by the Pennsylvania Key are Act 48 approved. All credits and hours must be related to an educator’s certification. Attendees may earn Act 48 hours towards their PA Professional I or II Certification. If you do not hold Pennsylvania public school certification, you do not need Act 48 credit. Individual learners support to Act 48 as they complete courses.
