Can I use Lillio Academy for PD hours in South Carolina?

Yes! Lillio Academy is IACET accredited and approved by SC Endeavors and ABC Quality. Lillio Academy’s State Registry ID is 660131, and our Organization ID is 11743.

Please Note: All Webinars and Lillio Basic Courses must NOT be submitted to your registry. They do not meet specific learning requirements for the state and will not be accepted if submitted.


Sign up for Lillio Academy to complete your professional development hours at your convenience! You can work at your own pace from wherever you want. Once you complete a course, you can download your certificate! South Carolina course approval codes will be on all certificates. Your attendance will be directly submitted to SC Endeavours.

South Carolina Training Requirements: 

Educators in the state of South Carolina are required to complete 15 hours of professional development annually. Those who receive training above 15 hours per year may carry over 5 hours to the following year in the category earned. CPR and first aid training will not count in the 15 hours.

Training categories include the following:

  • Child growth and development

  • Curriculum

  • Child guidance

  • Health and safety

  • Nutrition

  • Special needs

  • Professional development

  • Program Administration

  • Other areas approved by the Department

  • Must include blood-borne pathogens training as required by OSHA

Directors in the state of South Carolina are required to complete 20 hours of professional development annually. Those who receive training above 20 hours per year may carry over 10 hours to the following year in the category earned. CPR and first aid training will not count in the 20 hours.

Training categories include the following:

  • Program administration (min 5 hours)

  • Child growth and development and/or health and safety (min 5 hours

  • Curriculum

  • Nutrition

  • Guidance

  • Special needs

  • Professional development

  • Other approved by the Department

  • Must include blood-borne pathogens training as required by OSHA
