Indiana Association of Resources and Child Advocacy

Framework

Location: Indiana

Child care associations promote the education and well-being of children, families, and child care providers.

Founded in 1944, the Indiana Association of Resources and Child Advocacy (IARCA) represents 90 member agencies covering a vast amount of services, including but not limited to; residential care, foster care, home based services and crisis stabilization. The IARCA aims to increase awareness of the importance of communication, cooperation, and personal development as well as creating a support system among individuals within the association. The main goal of the IARCA is to provide high-quality services in the most appropriate and effective way for each individual family, to lead them towards a healthy and productive life.

The IARCA functions under core values shared by all members. The IARCA believes that each child and family has the right to a safe and nurturing environment, that they have inherent worth. The IARCA believes that quality leadership as well as working collectively and collaboratively, leads to the greatest outcomes. By working together as a community, the IARCA is able to offer adequate resources as a public priority. By sharing knowledge and experiences with one another, the IARCA community is able to meet the needs of all children and families.
