A Back-to-School Message from Alana, CEO & Co-Founder of Lillio
Dear Lillio Community,
As we step into the 2026–2027 school year, I want to take a moment to reflect on the year behind us—and to recognize the meaningful impact your work has for children and families, every single day.
The past year has brought its share of both challenges and joy for early childhood educators and providers. From navigating ever changing requirements and stretched resources to celebrating first steps and happy drop-offs, you’ve been there for children, families, and your teams through it all. You’ve continued to bring patience, creativity, and care to your work every day—work that isn’t always easy, but makes a real difference in the lives of children and families.
And now, a new school year begins. There’s excitement in the fresh start, but we also know how much goes on behind the scenes to get there. From managing schedules and enrollment to welcoming new families, staying on top of billing and staffing, and keeping up with the paperwork, ratings & licensing requirements, and countless details that keep your center running, there’s a lot on your plate.
That’s why, over the past year, our team has been focused on finding new ways to make your day-to-day a little easier. We’ve listened closely to your feedback. And worked to streamline everyday tasks, reduce repetitive work, and give you more control over the things that keep your center moving. From new tools to improvements across Lillio, each update has been guided by a simple goal: to save you time for what matters most, and to be your trusted partner in helping your back-office run smoothly and in delivering high quality care.
I also want to recognize our incredible team behind this work. I’m so proud of the thought, care, and countless hours our product, engineering and customer teams have put into bringing these improvements to life. Every feature represents collaboration, problem-solving, and a genuine commitment to making Lillio a better partner for educators everywhere.
As we begin another school year, I hope you feel proud of everything you’ve done to get here, excited for what’s ahead, and supported by the community around you. Whether you’ve been part of Lillio for years or are just getting started, we’re grateful to be a small part of your journey.
Here’s to a new school year filled with meaningful moments, new possibilities, and a little more time for what matters most. Wishing you, your teams, and the children and families you serve a wonderful start to the 2026–2027 school year.
Warmly,
Alana Frome
CEO & Co-Founder, Lillio
