In this webinar we welcomed Megan Bowling, Vice President of Stretch-n-Grow! Megan walked us through what a high-quality enrichment program should look like, and how to bring one into your childcare center. Through first-hand experience, and extensive knowledge Megan walked us through the developmental impacts that an enrichment program can have on children’s lives, as well as the impact it can have on your staff. Megan taught us that by bringing a high quality enrichment program into your centers, you can support your staff through deepening learning experiences in their classrooms, as well as giving them a moment to breathe and catch up on documentation. All of which Megan has seen increase staff productivity and retention. Lastly Megan taught us how to leverage high quality enrichment programs as fundraising opportunities, and as a resource to attract new and committed families to your center.
🎤Our Special Guests:
Megan Bowling, Vice President of Stretch-n-Grow!
You could say Megan has been involved with early childhood education before she was even born. Her parents, Bob and Jill Manly founded Stretch-n-Grow when Jill was pregnant with her in 1992. Jill recognized the lack of structured physical education for preschoolers and pioneered the preschool physical education industry. Twenty-eight years later Megan and her sister Amanda run Stretch-n-Grow International and Megan also runs her own Stretch-n-Grow franchise in St. Petersburg, FL. Megan is passionate about helping childcare centers recognize enrichment programs as a valuable resource. When she is not assisting affiliates around the world, she is working with childcare directors in her area and managing her team of coaches.
